b.

On calcul e les deux membres séparément :

$2x + 4 = 2 \times 2 + 4 = 4 + 4 = 88 = 8$

$5x - 2 = 5 \times 2 - 2 = 10 - 2 = 8$ Comme $8 = 8$ , $2$ est bien solution de l'équation.

b.

$12 - a = 18 - 3a$

$12 - a + 3a = 18 - 3a + 3a$

$12 + 2a = 18$

Exercice 44

a.

$- t - 4 = 8 + 7t$

$- t - 4 - 7t = 8 + 7t - 7t$

$- 8t - 4 = 8$

$- 8t - 4 + 4 = 8 + 4$

En choisissant $x$ au départ, on obtient $(2x + 5)^{2}$ . On veut avoir $(2x + 5)^{2} = 0$ .

$(2x + 5)² = 0$

$2x + 5 = 0$

$2x = - 5$

$x = - \dfrac{5}{2}$

$x = - 2,5$

Vérification : $\left( 2 \times ( - 2,5) + 5 \right)^{2} = ( - 5 + 5)^{2} = 0^{2} = 0$ .

Il faut choisir $- 2,5$ au départ pour obtenir $0$ à la fin.

Si on choisit $A$ comme nombre de départ, on obtient à la fin $5A + 2$ .

On cherche à avoir $5A + 2 = 32$

$5A + 2 = 32$

$5A + 2 - 2 = 32 - 2$

$5A = 30$

$A = \dfrac{30}{5}$

$A = 6$

Ex 51 p. 173

Manuel :

Correction :

a. On a :

$D_{Anouar} = 2 \times 0,2 + 3x = 0,4 + 3x$ (aller-retour maison-circuit + 3 tours)

$D_{Bilal} = 2 \times 1,4 + x = 2,8 + x$ (aller-retour maison-circuit + 1 tour)

On cherche donc à résoudre :

$0,4 + 3x = 2,8 + x$

b.

$0,4 + 3x = 2,8 + x$

$0,4 + 3x - x = 2,8 + x - x$

$0,4 + 2x = 2,8$

$0,4 + 2x - 0,4 = 2,8 - 0,4$

$2x = 2,4$

$x = \dfrac{2,4}{2}$

$x = 1,2$

$S = 1,2$

c.

Anouar a parcouru : $0,4 + 3 \times 1,2 = 0,4 + 3,6 = 4km$

Bilal a parcouru $:2,8 + 1,2 = 4km$

Chacun a parcouru 4 km.

Manuel :

Correction :

On a :

$\mathcal{A}_{ABCD} = 7x$

$\mathcal{A}_{BMNP} = (x - 3) \times 2 = 2x - 6$

a. On veut :

$\mathcal{A}_{ABCD} = \mathcal{A}_{BMNP} + 40$

$7x = 2x - 6 + 40$

$7x = 2x + 34$

$7x - 2x = 2x + 34 - 2x$

$5x = 34$

$x = \dfrac{34}{5}$

$x \approx 6,8$

$x > 0$ donc cela est possible.

b. On veut :

$\mathcal{A}_{ABCD} = 2 \times \mathcal{A}_{BMNP}$

$7x = 2 \times (2x - 6)$

$7x = 4x - 12$

$7x - 4x = 4x - 12 - 4x$

$3x = - 12$

$x = - \dfrac{12}{4}$

$x = - 3$

$x < 0$ : cela est impossible pour une longueur

Ex 89 p. 187

Manuel :

Correction :

Soit $x$ la longueur du côté du carré $ABCD$ . On a alors :

$\mathcal{A}_{ABCD} = x²$

$\mathcal{A}_{AED} = \dfrac{5 \times x}{2} = 2,5x$

On cherche donc à résoudre l'équation :

$x² = 2,5x$

$x² - 2,5x = 0$

$x(x - 2,5) = 0$

$x = 0$ ou $x - 2,5 = 0$

$x = 0$ ou $x = 2,5$

Un côté de carré ne peut pas être nul, donc $x = 2,5cm$ .
